Mustafiz Mamun is an award-winning Bangladeshi photojournalist and an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Television, Film, and Photography at the University of Dhaka. With over two decades of experience, he has documented people, culture, landscapes, wildlife, environmental issues, and political events. A recognized expert in drone operation, he uses aerial photography and videography to capture stunning, unique perspectives that have been featured in numerous works and publications. Beyond photography, Rahman has been actively involved in coastal cleanup initiatives in Bangladesh since 2008 and contributed to CSIRO's Global Plastic Leakage to Ocean project. His commitment to environmental awareness is further supported by specialized training in Sri Lanka, highlighting his dedication to conservation through impactful visual narratives. He holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Dhaka and a Diploma in Photography from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute.
